Step back in time and onto the deck of a ship anchored off the Sicilian coast, all from the comfort of your own living room. This exceptional print transports you to a moment captured on December 31, 1948, featuring the enigmatic Charles ‘Lucky’ Luciano, the Mafia boss whose influence reached far and wide. The photograph, immortalized by the lens of the legendary Slim Aarons, carries with it an air of intrigue and a clandestine atmosphere that can’t be ignored.

Elevate the aesthetic of your personal space with a narrative, rather than just an image. This piece is not merely a decoration; it’s a conversation starter, a thought-provoking visual that invites your guests to question the stories and figures that shaped our world. Aarons’ ability to frame history and personality within the four corners of a photograph turns any room into a gallery of human experience.

In a world dominated by digital screens, the tactile richness of this physical print offers a pleasing contrast that engages not just the eyes but also the soul. The year may be 2023, but this print serves as a tactile time capsule that enriches your interior decor. It’s an invitation to ponder, to question, and to appreciate the complex tapestry of human history, all while savoring your morning coffee or entertaining friends.

Place this compelling print in your study, above your mantle, or even in your modern, minimalist living room, and watch how it transforms the energy of your space. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, it’s a gateway to countless conversations and reflections about power, history, and the human condition. In a world where art often raises more questions than it answers, “Lucky Luciano” stands as a testament to the enduring power of visual storytelling.

Prints are listed in cm and inches - what will be the size of my print?
We produce prints in both metric (centimetres) and imperial (inches) sizes.
The sizing system being used depends on the product type and the country in which your order is being sent to.
In most cases there are only a few millimetres difference between the metric and imperial conversions.

How does the border affect the size of the print?
The total size of the print will always be the size that you select.
The border if chosen is internal and slightly reduces the image area.

Which paper do you recommend?
Generally Photo Lustre (Semi Gloss) is recommended for most purposes as it is the middle ground between Matte & Gloss. So the colours will still be vibrant, with a lot less glare.
