Step back in time and immerse yourself in the historic elegance of San Marino through the lens of Slim Aarons, captured in a riveting visual narrative we like to call “Giuseppe Franchini-Tassini.” This artwork freezes a moment from 1982, showcasing Bowman Giuseppe Franchini-Tassini, a distinguished member of the Balestrieri—the oldest military order in San Marino, tracing its roots to the 13th century. There he is, leaning on his crossbow with the poise of a guardian and the grace of an artist.

Introducing this piece into your home is like opening a portal to an era long past but not forgotten. Picture this hanging in your living room or study, offering a conversation starter that not only speaks volumes about world history but also about your own refined taste in art.

Not just a photograph, but a statement. This poster turns any wall into a canvas for storytelling, bridging the gap between the past and the present. It’s a must-have for history buffs, art aficionados, and anyone who appreciates the intricate tapestry of human civilization.

As much as this piece serves as a tribute to a time-honored tradition, it also effortlessly elevates your interior space. Imagine the enriched atmosphere it would create—a silent but eloquent member of your household, always ready to transport you and your guests to the storied cobblestone streets of San Marino. A captivating blend of history and artistry, this Slim Aarons masterpiece is a timeless addition to your home.

Prints are listed in cm and inches - what will be the size of my print?
We produce prints in both metric (centimetres) and imperial (inches) sizes.
The sizing system being used depends on the product type and the country in which your order is being sent to.
In most cases there are only a few millimetres difference between the metric and imperial conversions.

How does the border affect the size of the print?
The total size of the print will always be the size that you select.
The border if chosen is internal and slightly reduces the image area.

Which paper do you recommend?
Generally Photo Lustre (Semi Gloss) is recommended for most purposes as it is the middle ground between Matte & Gloss. So the colours will still be vibrant, with a lot less glare.
