Step back in time to a bygone era of elegance and grandeur with this evocative masterpiece, capturing the essence of the 1958 Debutante Cotillion in Boston’s illustrious Copley Plaza ballroom. This work, by the renowned Slim Aarons, whispers tales of debutantes in floor-length white gowns and long white gloves. Fathers, standing by their daughters, perform a dignified bow, while the young women offer a gracious curtsey, signaling their acceptance into high society.

As a slice of historical glamour, this print effortlessly infuses your living space with a touch of sophistication. Imagine it gracing the walls of your study or foyer, a silent observer of your own social gatherings and intimate moments. It acts as a conversation starter, a narrative piece that invites questions and sparks curiosity.

The photograph’s luminous white gowns and gloves, juxtaposed against the opulence of the Copley Plaza, serve as a neutral palette that harmonizes with a multitude of interior design styles. Whether your home exudes modern minimalism or vintage charm, this artwork finds its rightful place, subtly elevating the ambience.

Not just a print, but a portal to a moment frozen in time—this work by Slim Aarons promises to be more than wall decor; it’s an experience, a story, and a legacy. Transform your home into a sanctuary of class and history, where every glance at this stunning piece serves as a reminder of a world both distant and strangely familiar.

Prints are listed in cm and inches - what will be the size of my print?
We produce prints in both metric (centimetres) and imperial (inches) sizes.
The sizing system being used depends on the product type and the country in which your order is being sent to.
In most cases there are only a few millimetres difference between the metric and imperial conversions.

How does the border affect the size of the print?
The total size of the print will always be the size that you select.
The border if chosen is internal and slightly reduces the image area.

Which paper do you recommend?
Generally Photo Lustre (Semi Gloss) is recommended for most purposes as it is the middle ground between Matte & Gloss. So the colours will still be vibrant, with a lot less glare.
