Step into a world of classic elegance and timeless allure with our exclusive poster capturing a moment from the Cygnets’ Ball of 1955. Let the swank and sophistication of a bygone era envelop your living space, as the image brings to life the scintillating atmosphere at Claridge’s Hotel in London, where Miss Daphne Battine and the Honourable Charles Wilson danced the night away.

Suspended in a frame of your choice, this arresting visual narrative is more than mere decoration—it’s a conversation starter. Picture this stunning piece greeting guests in your foyer, or perhaps elevating the ambiance of your personal study. Wherever it resides, it invites onlookers to ponder the stories and secrets of a glamorous past.

The unmistakable aesthetic of Slim Aarons, the celebrated chronicler of high society, imbues this artwork with an authenticity that transcends time. The finesse of his lens captures not just faces, but the very essence of an epoch where opulence and refinement were the order of the day.

From its evocative subject to its historical richness, this print offers a unique blend of art and storytelling that enriches your home. It’s not merely wall art; it’s a portal to an era, allowing you to experience the luxury and grandeur of 1950s London without ever leaving your living room.

Prints are listed in cm and inches - what will be the size of my print?
We produce prints in both metric (centimetres) and imperial (inches) sizes.
The sizing system being used depends on the product type and the country in which your order is being sent to.
In most cases there are only a few millimetres difference between the metric and imperial conversions.

How does the border affect the size of the print?
The total size of the print will always be the size that you select.
The border if chosen is internal and slightly reduces the image area.

Which paper do you recommend?
Generally Photo Lustre (Semi Gloss) is recommended for most purposes as it is the middle ground between Matte & Gloss. So the colours will still be vibrant, with a lot less glare.
