Step into the world of “Chilled Beverages,” an evocative masterpiece by iconic photographer Slim Aarons. This nostalgic scene whisks you away to 1955, where the Snow Bar outside the Mittersill Club on Cannon Mountain in New Hampshire is brimming with laughter, clinking glasses, and a sense of timeless camaraderie.

Slim Aarons has captured an era, a lifestyle, and a unique moment in American history with his lens. The beauty of this print is its ability to serve as a conversation starter, offering a window into the halcyon days of social gatherings in mid-century America. Imagine this artwork gracing the walls of your living room or study, infusing the space with a touch of nostalgia, yet remaining ever-so-relevant to modern sensibilities.

This isn’t just a photograph; it’s an experience, a mood encapsulator, a slice of history that Slim Aarons has immortalized. When you gaze at this print, you’re not just looking at an image—you’re feeling the crisp air of Cannon Mountain, hearing the laughter and clinking of glasses, experiencing the joys of a bygone era.

Why should “Chilled Beverages” find a home on your wall? Because it’s more than a picture; it’s a story waiting to be told and retold, a statement piece that encapsulates the essence of Slim Aarons’ work and the cultural zeitgeist he so beautifully documented. It’s your invitation to relive, if only for a moment, the simple joys of life through the eyes of a photographic legend.

Prints are listed in cm and inches - what will be the size of my print?
We produce prints in both metric (centimetres) and imperial (inches) sizes.
The sizing system being used depends on the product type and the country in which your order is being sent to.
In most cases there are only a few millimetres difference between the metric and imperial conversions.

How does the border affect the size of the print?
The total size of the print will always be the size that you select.
The border if chosen is internal and slightly reduces the image area.

Which paper do you recommend?
Generally Photo Lustre (Semi Gloss) is recommended for most purposes as it is the middle ground between Matte & Gloss. So the colours will still be vibrant, with a lot less glare.
