Step into the sun-kissed allure of Italy with a unique visual odyssey that captures a moment frozen in time: a woman in Porto Ercole, transformed by body paint into an illusion of a blue bikini. This captivating moment was lensed by none other than Slim Aarons, a master of portraying the effortless elegance of the elite. Titled “Body Painting,” the work transports you to Tuscany in September 1986, making it an extraordinary conversational piece.

Beyond its captivating subject, this piece exudes a blend of whimsy and sophistication that can elevate any living space. Imagine this print gracing your lounge or study, imbuing a sense of la dolce vita that only Slim Aarons can conjure. Its presence serves as a constant reminder of the artistry of leisure and the playfulness of life, making your home not just a residence, but a sanctuary of style and inspiration.

Though the photograph is awash in the vivid blue of the imagined bikini, its true power lies in its ability to spark imagination. It’s more than a snapshot; it’s a gateway to stories untold, a catalyst for daydreams of Mediterranean escapades. When friends and family see it, they won’t just see a photograph—they’ll experience an entire narrative in a single frame.

Don’t just decorate your home; infuse it with the timeless glamour and playful elegance that Slim Aarons has encapsulated in “Body Painting.” This isn’t just a print; it’s an experience, a slice of Italian summer that you can enjoy year-round, right from the comfort of your own home.

Prints are listed in cm and inches - what will be the size of my print?
We produce prints in both metric (centimetres) and imperial (inches) sizes.
The sizing system being used depends on the product type and the country in which your order is being sent to.
In most cases there are only a few millimetres difference between the metric and imperial conversions.

How does the border affect the size of the print?
The total size of the print will always be the size that you select.
The border if chosen is internal and slightly reduces the image area.

Which paper do you recommend?
Generally Photo Lustre (Semi Gloss) is recommended for most purposes as it is the middle ground between Matte & Gloss. So the colours will still be vibrant, with a lot less glare.
