Step back in time and bask in the nostalgic glamour of 1950s Italy with a remarkable artwork that captures leisure at its finest. This isn’t just any scene; it’s a snapshot of an era, encapsulated in the classic game of backgammon, played on the sun-kissed sands of Hotel Excelsior on the Venice Lido. It’s like a vacation for your eyes, a visual escape crafted by the iconic Slim Aarons.

The very essence of sophistication and relaxation, this print brings an atmosphere of timeless elegance right into your living space. Imagine its transformative power, turning even the most mundane wall into a window to an Italian summer of yesteryear. It’s more than art; it’s a mood-setter, a conversation starter, and a homage to la dolce vita.

In a world often overwhelmed by the digital, this print serves as a tactile reminder of simpler, yet richer, times. Its vintage charm is a counterbalance to modern aesthetics, making it a perfect complement to both traditional and contemporary interiors. Think of it as the finishing touch that adds depth and character to your sanctuary.

Hang it in your living room, your study, or even your bathroom to infuse a sense of playfulness and jet-set allure to your home. This is not just a decoration; it’s an invitation to daydream, to pause, and to appreciate the art of leisure, all courtesy of Slim Aarons’ lens. A piece that defies time, “Beach Backgammon” is your ticket to an eternal Italian summer.

Prints are listed in cm and inches - what will be the size of my print?
We produce prints in both metric (centimetres) and imperial (inches) sizes.
The sizing system being used depends on the product type and the country in which your order is being sent to.
In most cases there are only a few millimetres difference between the metric and imperial conversions.

How does the border affect the size of the print?
The total size of the print will always be the size that you select.
The border if chosen is internal and slightly reduces the image area.

Which paper do you recommend?
Generally Photo Lustre (Semi Gloss) is recommended for most purposes as it is the middle ground between Matte & Gloss. So the colours will still be vibrant, with a lot less glare.
